There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling for children than to be able to express themselves openly and without judgment. Their ability to be creative, to create something from personal feelings and experiences, reflects and nurtures your children's emotional health.

CREATIVITY IS FREEDOM... Creativity is the freest form of self-expression. All children need to be creative. It is the freedom to commit themselves completely to the process of creation and make whatever activity they are doing their own. What's important in any creative act is the process of self-expression. Creative experiences help children to express and cope with their feelings. Creativity also fosters mental growth in children by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, and new ways of thinking and problem-solving. Creative activities help acknowledge and celebrate children's uniqueness and diversity.

CREATIVE PLAYSHOP
In four 4-hour fun-filled Saturday mornings your kids are invited to be with us in our brand-new atelier at the RayBella Gallery and learn techniques and methods to create their very own art pieces. The possibilities are endless. It's important to provide children lots of time to explore materials and pursue their ideas. This includes time and advice to think about how to plan, design, construct, experiment and revise project ideas.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Being creative is more than drawing or painting. This is NOT a drawing class, but rather an exploration of the Creative Potential that your children have not yet tapped into. This artistic experience activates the complete spectrum of their creative abilities. Professional artists are here to assist and help to expand your kid's creative horizons, try out new techniques and methods that will catapult their artwork to the next level for a major leap forward.
COACHING IS INCLUDED
No worries... if any creative blocks, fears or limitations show up, we will coach them right on the spot. Fears and limitations will literally disappear. Your child will leave this workshop with a new awareness and freedom to create whatever they desire.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
We will meet with your kids on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings from 9:30 am - 12:30pm. Each session begins with a Crystal Bowl Sound Infusion in the Gallery to activate their creative juices. After this meditation we move to the atelier to infuse their potential as artists. Along the way we will teach you the foundations of design, providing them with a standard vocabulary for creating visual art.
UPCOMING SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP (age:10-15)
You child will participate in ALL 4 weekend Classes:
Week # 1: Sat.9/4/2021 - CREATIVE ART EXPRESSION
Kids exercise their imagination, develop self expression and learn fundamental art skills to expand their creativity and
train their innovative thinking. They will discover tips and tricks for mixing colors, creating effects and layering techniques. They also learn about contrast, values and balance to create visual interest.
Week # 2: Sat. 9/11/2021 - SPIRIT CIRCLE
Kids develop their intuitive senses, experience crystal singing bowls, sound healing and meditation, breathing and
explore chakras. They will develop mixed media techniques, application of textures, tools and mediums.
Week # 3: Sat. 9/18/2021 - STORY COMPOSITION
Kids create and illustrate their stories, dreams and miracles. They learn about the arrangement of elements within a
work of art. They will understand how lines, shapes, forms and space bring your ideas into reality and begin to
design their own art works.
Week # 4: Sat.9/25/2021 - EXPRESS YOURSELF /CoCreation
Kids illustrate their favorite music, utilize color and textures to express rhythm and movement, texture and paint with nature. They harness their feelings and express them in a visual language. In addition they will complete a collective
Art Work with RayBella’s fun process of Co-Creation.
IMPLEMENTATION
We offer assignments for the week in between our sessions, so your kids can implement and explore more of what they have learned. After returning to the next session, we can help you to further their progress through personal discussion of
their creations and lead them to their next step.
