OHANA
‘OHANA’ was commissioned and created for a collector with a newly renovated estate in Kapalua, Maui. The color palette, size and inspiration for this unique painting was developed in conjunction with the client. Through this collaboration the piece of art became a representation for her deep rooted sense of family connection. The frequencies the words selected by our client were energetically inserted into the vials to match her intention. Part of Hawaiian culture, ‘OHANA’ means family (in an extended sense of the term, including blood-related, adoptive or intentional). The concept emphasizes that families are united together with a sense of cooperation and shared responsibilities for one another.
The Nautilus is a symbol of life, internal harmony, and the perfection of nature. It's shell evokes a sense of mystery and awe. The chambers of the nautilus shell are symbolic of growth, evolution, expansion and renewal - the stages each individual passes through life. The spiral itself is a symbol of creation, movement, fluidity and evolution. It reveals the cyclical nature of life and the relationship between unity and multiplicity. With no beginning and no end, the spiral curls eternally inward towards the Source of creation, and eternally outward with Source's continual self-creation. As a path, the spiral is both the journey home to who we really are, and the journey to be one with Source, for they are one and the same.
